Pancakes On The Rocks

(HISTORY)
"On 17th August 1975, Mr Meadmore opened the first pancakes restaurant in Sydney, Pancakes On The Rocks. He sold The Pancake Kitchen in Adelaide to two long-term employees and continued his venture in Sydney. Soon there were Pancakes restaurants all over Sydney, from Bondi Junction on the coast to Neutral Bay in the North and Parramatta in the west.

In 1994 the current owners embarked on a rebirth of Pancakes on The Rocks by adding to the menu pizzas, a new range of salads, crepes, pancakes and the famous ribs. The new look proved successful and the restaurant is busier than ever. In 2006 Pancakes on The Rocks opened its second restaurant at Northmead in Sydney’s West bringing with it the popular dishes served in the original restaurant. 2007 has seen the opening of another site at Darling Harbour in Sydney and Campbelltown in 2008. North Strathfield was the next to open in 2011.In 2012 we opened on the Gold Coast in Queensland. With the continued success of Pancakes on The Rocks in each location we are planning to expand even further, keep an eye out for one opening near you."

There are restaurants at The Rocks, Northmead, Darling Harbour, Campbelltown, North Srathfield and Gold Coast!! I think this is a great place to take your dad. Even if he isn't a big fan of desserts, he can try their savoury menu! Even better, you can take him when you're both free because they have a breakfast menu if you want to beat the crowd. or... for lunch/dinner, they offer salads, nachos, wedges and pizzas, crepes, steak and ribs!!

The last time i went, i tried their:

Strawberry Patch - "Buttermilk pancakes with fresh strawberries, cream, vanilla ice-cream and strawberry coulis."
this one, to me, was very ordinary... but it'd b perfect for those non-chocoholics out ther!!
and

Chocolate Jewels - "original chocolate pancakes with cream and chocolate ice-cream, smothered in chocolate sauce"
PERFECT FOR CHOCOHOLICS!!! <3 my first time having chocolate pancakes!! However, you may not be able to finish this by yourself if you're going to try something from their savoury menu too. Best for sharing between 2!! :)
